Hope springs eternal and Love blooms in the Spring… and talk about your picture perfect Spring day… Jodie & Chris had it for their wedding day! It seems to me that we’ve been talking about their wedding for a long time. Maybe that’s just because we had to get through a long hard Winter. When I took their engagement photographs they showed up on a big fat red bike. That was fun and yielded some really cool images. Their wedding day was a blast! I think they may be the only couple we’ve shot that headed off to their favorite watering hole after their ceremony.
The Sacred part of the day was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee (my ol’ stompin’ ground and 2 blocks from our studio!) and I love the shot that captured the roundness, scope and warmth of the Church. After a quick round for the house at C.Q’s it was on the trolley and off to downtown K.C. and the Town Pavilion in the K.C. Power & Light district… I have no idea where that group of friends ended the night… but I bet it was fun! Thank you J & C!
