Welcome to the QPI PHOTOGRAPHY blog. We're ready to rock this thing! It seems these days that everybody has something to blog about and we certainly don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to share ideas, inspiration, information, imagery and who knows… we may even throw in a chicken recipe or technical info on how to change the axel grease in your rear differential!

What we’re really excited about is sharing what we do best… photography! It’s our hope to share the magic of the imagery we help create by giving our clients just a little taste, just a little sooner. That’s the idea here! If you have any questions or ideas please feel free to contact us at any time…

Susan & Craig's Wedding Day

Marisa and I love love! We love to watch our couples bloom and blossom in it. We love Susan and Craig! Theirs is a love that proves that love always comes to back to town. If I was to say that Susan is a bird of a different feather, I would mean it with nothing but love. She met with me and instantly knew that we were the photographers for her. Her hopes that their day would be captured in a cool and different kinda way (much like her!) have been realized. Craig is a lawyer so I'm gonna watch my words very carefully! These guys are way in love and you can see it when they are together.

The Holy ceremony was held at Holy Rosary Church right around the corner from Garozzo's in old Columbus Park. It's where chicken spedinni began but that's another story. The sacred event was quite the event and quite magical... the music was knock me out amazing! From there it was on to one of our favorite places... The Simpson House The food and wine was amazing! The love was amazing! Thank you S & C for inviting us to be a part of your family. The video posts are new for us. We're gonna keep workin on that. It's good to embrace different... and to grow.

Erin & Steven's Wedding Day

Erin & Steven are rich! It's obvious that they love each other very much. Their wedding day was rich in love... rich in family... rich in sentiment... rich in history... rich in symbolism. They got married in Independence, MO just a skip off the square. The Trinity Episcopal Church is the same church that "Give em hell" Harry S. Truman was married in. Very cool! It was a beautiful ceremony that was steeped in rich tradition. We really liked Sam! The reception was held at Adams Pointe Golf Club where a wonderful dinner was served along with wine, dancing and laughter. Thank you so much for having us E & S. Please spend your rich love wisely.

Brandi & Mike's Wedding Day

We go to a lot of weddings and I can honestly say that I've never seen one like this. Brandi & Mike, Your day may have seemed like a whirlwind but... years from now... when you look back and reflect on your day and your amazing photographs... you are gonna smile so big... and laugh out loud! The whole day was at an amazing venue in Lawrence KS. The Circle S Ranch. http://www.circlesranch.com/index.htm A sprawling, working ranch that was the perfect spot on a perfect day.

Mike is Jewish and has family that came all the way from the Holy Land to be a part. Brandi loves Mike so much that she converted to show the commitment of her undying love. Wow! That's big! The two families were amazing and all we can say is thank you so much for having us.

Sometimes things start a little late and that's just the way it is. I will never forget that when the ceremony had just started there was a quiet hush that came over the place as everybody was finally settled... Just then a slight of breeze rattled the trees just over the couple and a shower of peaceful leaves rained down on us all. I turned to Mike's dad and said "How'd you do that?" He just looked at me and said "It's what I do." I'll never forget that.

There are other parts of the story that really will add lots of color as these memories are looked back on. The whole thing was beautiful. There is no such thing as perfect anyhow. Thank you Brandi & Mike for letting us be a part of your magic.

Bethanie & Karl's Wedding Day

We knew this one would be a hoot! Bethanie & Karl told us about how they fell in love and about their crazy friends. We were honored to get to be a part of that bunch on an almost perfect Fall day. The sacred ceremony was held in S. Kansas City at St Thomas More Catholic Church http://www.stmkc.com/
The trolley jaunt around town afterwards was a blast and included a stop at the fire fighter's memorial on 31st St. Karl and a few of his buddies are firefighters and a toast (or two) was made in honor of all K.C. firefighters.

Club 1000 http://www.club1000kc.com/ was the next setting for a night full of love, libations and laughter. The dinner was delicious and this was a dancin' crowd. Thank you B & K for letting us get to know you & your families a bit and to capture a day full of amazing images.
